Potrero Del Sol Skatepark

The Potrero del Sol Skatepark (also known as La Raza park) is a 16,000-square-foot concrete facility designed in partnership with Grindline Skateparks. Officially opened on June 28, 2008, it holds the crown as San Francisco's largest and most iconic public skatepark.

    The park is widely recognized for its fast-paced, high-consequence transition layout that accommodates pros and local heavy hitters alike:

    • The Main Bowl: A deep, multi-pocket concrete pool system lined with heavy pool coping for proper grind response

    • Flowing Snake Run: A long, continuous pump-track style ditch that feeds directly into the larger transitions, letting riders maintain speeds effortlessly

    • Street Section: Complete with hubba ledges, a kicker ramp, a stepped flat rail, and manual pads

    • "The 'Nandez Gap": The park's most legendary, massive gap running from the kicker deck completely over the street hubba

    • Thrasher Tribute: A pair of iconic Jake Phelps glasses frames are famously embedded permanently into the concrete perimeter quarterpipe
