Construction collaboration with Trent Construction.
The Corning Skate/BMX Park is a massive, premier 27,000-square-foot concrete facility. Designed by Kanten Russell (with Action Sport Design/Stantec) and built in collaboration with Kendal and Trent Construction, the park opened in October 2013. It is widely considered one of the top skateparks in Northern California and makes for a legendary road-trip stop right off the I-5 freeway.

    The expansive 27,000-square-foot footprint allows for full separation between high-speed transition riding and technical street courses, making it excellent for both skateboards and BMX bikes:

    • Massive Flow Bowl: A deep, beautifully shaped multi-pocket bowl network with pristine pool coping and diverse transition depths

    • Central Volcano: A large centerpiece obstacle linking the bowl decks to the street plazas, perfect for launch and transfer tricks

    • Loaded Street Plaza: Features a diverse array of stair sets, handrails, flat rails, hubba ledges, manual pads, and stamped brick banks

    • Infinite Lines: Sprawling flat ground and rolling mounds that let riders maintain speed effortlessly without crowding
