After much energetic lobbying by the local skateboarders, the Klamath Alternative Sports Alliance, (or "KASA") lobbied and collected funding to build a large and challenging park, completed on budget and under schedule in January of 2003.

This park has generated much excitement in the skateboarding community, and visitors stream in from around the world, regardless of season. Chris, from Redding California gushed "For what it's worth Klamath Falls, Oregon; township of some 20,000 people, has in my opinion near the best skatepark in the world."

The skateboarding media appears to agree.

The [KASA] Board researched this thoroughly and concluded that Dreamland was the most expert builder we could get, not just in the region but anywhere. They are hard working guys, passionate about their work, into their job, and quick at what they do. All have been easy to communicate with."

"Sometimes they were surrounded – they literally drew crowds of onlookers, yet whenever we spoke with them they were always friendly, cordial to the kids that watched."

"Dreamland made it a good experience."
